Hello,
I'm Ryan Rook!

Born and raised in the Bay Area California, I am an artist and designer currently living in Nashville TN. I studied art, fashion, and textile design at the Academy of Art in San Francisco CA. Throughout my creative explorations I have had some amazing experiences taking on a versatile range of projects and roles spanning the genres of textiles, print and pattern, interior design, styling, home décor, furniture, fine art, branding, and more. 

 

I work from a mix of approaches, mediums, forms and expressions within the art, design and creative fields. My abstract art is often the catalyst for my more structured design work that expresses a more detailed focus. I create from a combination of movement, mark making, and alignment. I love mixing materials, exploring different combinations of textures, fabrics, surfaces, and lines, as well as playing with color through fun striking contrasts with a mix of black & white, and bright pops.
